Christmas is a wonderful time in Tasmania.
Cherries ripen into a rich red and Christmas beetles appear in luminous green. And for those who believe, a special magic can be seen. Cherry and Beetle come to life and have an adventure with a Christmas theme.
Featuring delightful rhymes and charming illustrations by D.A. Sullivan, Cherry and Beetle's Tasmanian Christmas is a fun read for young and old.
Kingston Tales: Icy Pole in the Winter is the debut children’s book title by D.A. Sullivan. The story starts with 3 friends are at the beach. Bunkle Beepy wants to have an icy pole in the winter. Lucas Sheepgone wants to do sick moves on his skateboard. And Rainbow Charlotte wants to stay in charge. But, they do not have the beach to themselves...
Set in Kingston, a suburb south of Hobart, the capital city of the Australian state of Tasmania, and inspired by early twentieth century children's books and modern animated television shows, the characters of Icy Pole in the Winter are brought to life through loose sketches filled in with bright cartoon colours, set to coastal suburban backgrounds, where events unfold in fun and unpredictable ways.
